Father's Day Card

Some of my favorite memories of my dad are when he would play the guitar and sing.  I saw this awesome guitar card on Pinterest and I immediately knew I wanted to make one for my dad.

 I think it would have been easier for me to actually try and learn to play guitar then to make this card.   

I did not like the way my first try at making this card turned out.  Getting the brads and strings all lined up turned out to be a huge challenge for me as I am more of an "eyeball it' kind of girl, so I started over.

The second attempt turned out much better and I went on to make a guitar pick. This too, took me a couple of tries, because the first try the lid came off of my Glossy Accents as I was trying to put a thin coat on.  Opposite of thin coat shown below:




But I kept at it and I finally got a card that I was satisfied with and rushed it out to the mail box this morning.  Here is the finished product...
